This is a non-dug BBB Sword Belt Plate.This is a sand cast brass sword belt plate most likely worn by The Baptist Boys Brigade and dates to the Span Am War period.This Buckle is one of the a few made on the Hagner pattern with this type hook pattern.The others are USV and one type of NY.Nice Buckle with a good dark look.Listed in O'Donnel and Duncan's Buckle Book as figure 944 page 359.
