THIS IS A GROUP OF CONFEDERATE CIVIL WAR RELICS DUG BY ME ON SATURDAY JUNE 15 2002 IN THE WEST CORINTH AREA.The Solid Cast "I" Button has the shank broken and is my first to dug that way.The .70 Tower is the cone base type and the larger 3 ringers are CS Sharpshooter Bullets thought to be used by Texas troops. The other odd 54 looks to be molded from the same type mold. The other one is an Enfield also a couple of MM429's and several different size Musketballs and 3 Colt pistol bullets. Also I have found .37 and .50 Maynards,Picket Style bullets,Gardners,.54 NBF Enfields,.54 Kerrs and .55 Suhls in this area. The brass item is lead filled and has a shield on it????.
