THIS IS A GROUP OF CIVIL WAR RELICS DUG BY BILLY DIXON AND MYSELF ON SATURDAY SEPT 28 2002 IN THE GREAT STATE OF TENNESSEE.The Half Dollar is a counterfeit and made of pewter.Dated 1859 and shows very little wear.The dime has a lot of wear and is dated 1839-O New Orleans mint.The .70 Tower is shot as is the Sharps.The others are .54 balls probably for a Hall Carbine or Mississippi Rifle.I found some of the balls and the 2 bullets and as always Bill found the good stuff.
All was found on private land with the landowners permission.

The US below was dug by me on 10-02-2002 on private property with the landowner also relic hunting with me.
It is nice when friends that also hunt allow you to hunt on there land and don't get mad when you dig a buckle or something really nice.
