This is dug Civil War period brass spur.Good Brass item with a good patina.The rowell is missing.Dug in the Corinth Shiloh area.This is the type refered to as the Leech and Rigdon or Memphis Novelty Works Plain Style Spur.This was broken when dug and was expertly repaired by Mr Robert McDaniel.
